About Brian

Brian Pierce is a Managing Partner at Legacy Insurance Partners, and serves as a Business Insurance Consultant.  He joined the Faw team in 2004. Prior to that, he worked on the carrier side for 9 years with Penn National Insurance in underwriting and as a territory manager. He has been in the insurance industry for 30 years after graduating from Appalachian State University with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. He holds multiple designations, including CPCU, CIC, API, and AIS.

Brian is active in several community non-profit organizations, including serving as a director and officer for the Ruby Pardue Blackburn Adult Enrichment Services Daycare and for Wilkes Vocational Services.  When Brian is not busy giving exceptional service to his clients or taking part in community activities, you’ll likely find him enjoying just about anything outdoors with his family and friends.   Brian is an avid cyclist and is committed to living and promoting an active lifestyle.  Brian’s family includes his wife, Larina, and daughters Camille and Nora.
