About Matthew

Matthew joined Broome Insurance in 2025 and brings a unique blend of experience and dedication to his role. With over a year and a half in the insurance industry, Matthew previously worked as a Property and Casualty Agent for Comparion Insurance Agency. Before transitioning into insurance, he built a strong foundation in customer service and problem-solving through his work in the automotive industry as both a service technician and a sales professional.

Matthew is passionate about understanding the needs of his clients and delivering thorough, accurate consultations to help protect what matters most to them. He finds fulfillment in working hard and honoring his values every day. His primary focus is assisting clients with complex assets or those who need guidance in understanding their insurance needs.

Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life Insurance since 2024, Matthew also brings a wealth of personal and professional accomplishments. He was the winner of the 2022 Randy Dorton Engine Builder Rookie Showdown hosted by Hendrick Automotive Group and represented the U.S. Junior National Rowing Team in 2018 and 2019.

Outside of work, Matthew has been married to his wife, Kylie, for three years. He devotes time to serving in his local church’s high school ministry and plays drums for Hickory Bible Church. His hobbies include chess, weightlifting, and continuing his education—he is currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Bible Theology through Liberty University, with graduation expected in Spring 2026.
